What does it take to be a model in the
American Girl Fashion Show?

Becoming a model in the American Girl Fashion Show is rather easy.  There is no experience necessary!  Your child simply needs to be over 5 yrs old and be able to wear a size 6x or 10 to be able to wear one of the costumes that is provided by the American Girl Programs.

We do conduct a “casting call” simply to make sure the girls will be able to walk the runway, be able to follow directions, and that they will not be scared to be in front of a large audience. We would like girls who really like to express their cute personalities!

In addition, the “casting” call will allow us to select girls suitable to portray one of the Historical Characters.  The girls that we cast for these rolls, will need to look similar to the actual dolls as shown in some of the below pictures.

"KIT"

"Molly"

"Addy"

However, there are many slots available for girls to wear contemporary clothing and does not require certain hair color or style!  They just get to be themselves and have to opportunity some of the stylish American Girl Fashions!

If you are interested in you child being a part of the 2012 American Girl Fashion Show, hosted by the American Cancer Society, please email us @ americangirlfscentralin@gmail.com to be added to our contact list!  You will then be able to receive further information on this year's casting call when those details become available.
